The PING G15 Driver is designed for golfers seeking more distance and forgiveness off the tee. Thanks to an external sole weight, the center of gravity is lower and further back in the clubhead. This helps to launch the ball higher more easily and supports a stable ball flight with controlled spin.
The longer clubhead profile increases the moment of inertia (MOI). This makes the club more stable at impact, and even off-center hits maintain good direction and distance. The long and thin clubface is designed to maintain ball speed across a larger area of the face, resulting in consistent drives.
The PING-developed TFC 149D shaft with a high balance point allows for additional weight to be placed in the clubhead without increasing the total swing weight. This contributes to greater stability and extra ball speed at impact.
