The Ping i20 Driver is designed for golfers seeking a strong combination of distance, control, and forgiveness. Compared to many traditional player's drivers, the i20 offers surprising stability while still allowing for shot shaping.
The 460cc clubhead features an aerodynamic shape and a deep center of gravity placement, which helps to create more clubhead speed and a powerful, penetrating ball flight. Thanks to the thin crown construction, Ping was able to place extra weight low and back, providing a higher launch and more forgiveness on off-center hits.
What sets the i20 apart from the more forgiving G-series is its more neutral weight distribution and lower spin. This gives golfers more control over their ball flight and keeps the ball more stable in the wind. At the same time, the driver remains accessible enough for a wide range of players.
